Researchers have become increasingly concerned about schools implementing any variety of models that are not evidence-based. At the very least, these models may waste precious time…at worst, they may cause harm. And there are lots of models that are primarily focused on teaching educators what to do in the heat of the moment. That’s not proactive at all.
